Sweet Tattoos

we love temporary tattoos

Both L and C enjoy giving themselves temporary tattoos. They enjoy playing with stickers to a point but temporary tattoos are a whole other level of fun.

The other morning it was extra quiet…this always means something interesting is actually happening. I found L in the bathroom counting quietly…15, 16, 17…, a wet wash cloth on his arm and a temporary tattoo almost in place.

He was so proud that he was able to get the tattoo on himself. These are big moments at our house. L is an incredible worker and his mind is constantly moving from one thing to another. If he doesn’t know how something is going to turn out, he hesitates to try it himself. If he feels there are any expectations (either he has or he thinks we, his parents, have) then he wants help, lots of help.

He wants the tattoo to look just like the design on the paper transfer, if it gets grainy or doesn’t come off just right he is usually upset. So, to find him working on his temporary tattoo himself…I was very pleased.

Of course, once C saw L’s tattoos he wanted some as well. It was a fun morning.

  1. Alice

Gorgeous tattoos. I’ve never seen such nice ones. Would you mind telling me where you got them from? Thanks, Alice

    • Of course Alice! I actually found them at the dollar section of Target. They were vibrant and easy to apply. I bought them for L’s birthday party favors, they were a huge hit.

  2. Looking so cool on innocent skin.
